Approximately two weeks since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in Colorado, the region continues to navigate this unprecedented situation.
“While the closure and cancelation of many of our city’s beloved attractions, accommodations, restaurants, galleries, museums and events is hard on all of us, the more stringently we follow recommended health practices, the sooner we can get back to the business of welcoming visitors and groups to Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region,” said Doug Price, President & CEO of VCOS.
Although most businesses have had to shut down their standard operations, many are finding new ways to engage and serve the public during this time through virtual experiences and curbside options. VCOS encourages the public to take advantage of these offers to support the local economy while also finding safe, engaging ways to discover adventure, education, cuisine, fitness and more.
